Each week the team consisting of James Canning, Lucas Black, Mal Adjusted, & Andrea Tenille, seek out the worlds funkiest beats to open your minds and massage your ears. Our show covers genres like House, Nu Jazz & Broken Beat, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Latin, Drum and Bass and more.
Respect Music has great relationships with some of the world's leading DJs and Producers, and we feature DJ mixes or Live sets from them each week on the show.
We also count down our top 5 chart 'Respect This Music' which is featured in Scene Magazine.
Other regular segments include 'Retrospect', where we take a look at the world of sampling in modern day production, and 'In Play', where we showcase tracks that Respect Music has helped to get into high rotation on the Australian airwaves.
