Afro Dizzee

Ben Madden, now known as 'Afro Dizzee Akt', started DJ'ing amongst friends at the ripe age of 16. Once realizing there was a great passion for the music and the lifestyle within him, Ben started progressing through the industry starting at house parties for friends and the odd school party. Once at the age of 18 were he was now legal to work in bars and clubs Ben set about getting some real work and experience in the industry. It wasn't long before he had his first chance in a Club called 'Liquid in Life' and from there things escalated.

After building himself a reputation and a name for himself Ben was receiving offers from other clubs such as 'Strawberry Moons' and 'M20', were he played many times. Soon Ben was offered residency at a House club called 'Cube' were he took this position and worked there for just over five months before moving to Australia. Once arriving in Australia he took a brief break from the Clubbing scene but soon found his love for the music and life was too great and soon moved back towards his main love of DJ'ing. Due to visa conditions Ben Moved back to England and continued with his passion but soon to find he wanted to further his career abroad so returned to Australia. Once returning to Australia he decided to go to Airlie Beach where he had met a friend by the name of Luke Anderson who ran a company called L.A. Walker DJ's were he found work.

Ben began to do many events for Luke, amongst the general work there was some big name support gigs such as 'Hook and Sling', 'TV Rock' and 'The Aston Shuffle'. Ben also played majority events organized by Luke such as Full Moon Parties, Barge Parties, Release, The White Party, Lock Stock and 3 Smoking DJ's and many more. After six months Ben had an offer from Evolution night club for residency were he has been playing for the last eight months.
